We believe in the potential of the circular economy – especially for scrap IT
The digitalisation of our society is unstoppable – unfortunately, a mountain of e-waste is growing with it. According to the Global Waste Monitor 2024, 62 million tonnes of e-waste were produced worldwide in 2022. The IT sector alone accounted for 17% of this – i.e. 10.5 million tonnes.
What does the circular economy mean?
The circular economy aims to use resources for as long as possible by reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling products and materials. This economic model reduces waste and conserves natural resources by extending the life cycle of products and promoting their reuse.
Where others see waste, we see opportunities
Electronic waste plays a crucial role in the circular economy, but is often neglected. Through effective recycling and reuse, we can save resources and reduce our environmental impact. The following statistics illustrate the scale and importance of this issue:
Annual avoidable e-waste generated worldwide by 2030.
Our mission
We believe in a future in which IT hardware not only has a second life, but even a third or fourth life.
